Job summary

STIHL Inc. in Johnson City, TN is seeking a driven Commercial Solutions Specialist to join our field sales team.

This role focuses on building relationships with dealers and commercial customers, delivering hands-on demonstrations of gas and battery-powered STIHL solutions, and closing sales opportunities. You will work with Territory Managers and CSDs, travel to customer sites up to 75%, attend trade shows and training events, and report on activities using CRM tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and work experience.
• 1–3 years of sales prospecting experience.
• Travel up to 75%.
• Self-starter and able to perform well with minimal supervision.
• Spanish language skills preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience with OneCRM and SAP.

Responsibilities

• Visit strategic commercial and municipal accounts with product demos and training.
• Identify and prospect new accounts.
• Develop, implement and evaluate product training programs and contact potential customers.
• Attend STIHL events, trade shows and dealer trainings to promote STIHL and services.
• Maintain reporting (CRM, field reports, expenses, and other field data).
• Attend sales and dealer training meetings and other required meetings.
