Farmers Home Furniture in Kingstree, SC is seeking a debt collection associate to locate, contact, and secure payments from customers with delinquent accounts. You will handle notices, review terms, and document all communications.

Responsibilities include collecting payments, balancing cash drawers, traveling to customer locations as needed, and filing paperwork for potential legal action under the direction of the Store Manager. Strong communication and 6 months related experience preferred.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required; six months experience in payment collections or office procedures.
• Valid State Driver’s License.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsabilidades

• Sends notices to customers to encourage payment of delinquent accounts.
• Confers with customers by text or phone to collect overdue payments.
• Documents all correspondence with customers regarding accounts.
• Receives payments and posts to customer accounts.
• Maintains and balances cash drawer; keeps drawer locked when unattended.
• Travels to customers' homes to collect payments; assists with repossessions if approved.
• Prepares paperwork for possible legal action against severely delinquent accounts.
• Logs daily, weekly, and monthly work activities.
