Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or technical training preferred.
• 3 years of field experience in construction materials testing or related discipline.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specs.
• Effective written and verbal communication; ability to document work accurately.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record; willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Perform field testing on construction materials including soil and concrete.
• Conduct density testing, slump testing, and other procedures as required.
• Observe activities, verify compliance with project specs, and document results.
• Prepare daily field reports and communicate findings to team members.
• Ensure equipment is calibrated and maintained; uphold safety standards.
