Job summary

UES, Inc. is hiring across multiple Technician levels for our Construction Materials Testing (CMT) teams in the United States. Technicians work on active projects shaping roads, bridges, schools, and infrastructure, with hands-on training and clear paths from Technician I through Technician IV.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate’s degree or relevant technical training preferred.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform field testing and inspections of concrete, soils, asphalt, aggregates, and other construction materials.
• Conduct soil compaction testing, concrete sampling, slump testing, and other materials testing procedures.
• Observing construction activities and verifying compliance with project specifications.
• Documenting test results, preparing field reports, and communicating findings.
• Working alongside contractors, engineers, project managers, and construction teams.
• Operating and maintaining specialized field testing equipment.
• Supporting quality assurance and quality control activities.
• Assisting with more complex inspections and mentoring junior technicians as your experience grows.
