Job summary

Alfred Benesch & Company is seeking a Civil Construction Intern to support inspection and documentation of road, water main, and sewer projects. This field-based role offers hands‑on experience and mentorship from Project Engineers and Project Managers.

Pursuing a bachelor’s in Civil or Construction Engineering (ABET‑accredited; EIT preferred). Familiarity with ArcGIS, MicroStation, GeoPak, or AutoCAD is a plus; strong communication and teamwork are essential. Valid driver’s license required.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in ABET-accredited Civil or Construction Engineering program; EIT preferred.
• Experience on field projects is a plus.
• Familiarity with ArcGIS, MicroStation, GeoPak, and/or AutoCAD.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to work within budgets and schedules.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Valid driver's license and good driving record.
