Job summary

Alfred Benesch & Company is seeking Civil Construction Interns to support inspection and documentation of road, water main, and sewer projects. This field-based internship offers mentoring from Project Engineers and Project Managers and hands-on exposure to infrastructure construction.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a Civil or Construction Engineering degree from an ABET-accredited program, with ArcGIS, MicroStation, GeoPak, or AutoCAD familiarity.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited degree in Civil or Construction Engineering
• EIT preferred
• Field project experience is a plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Valid driver's license and good driving record

Responsibilities

• Support inspection and documentation of road, water main, and sewer construction projects
• Hands-on field experience and exposure to construction observation and project documentation
• Learn directly from experienced engineers and project managers
