Job summary

This entry-level role includes mandatory in-person Clean Harbors Academy training out of state, with airfare, hotel, and per diem provided. Opportunities to advance to Salary Management roles exist after successful training and performance.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's license.
• Strong customer service skills.
• CDL Class B with hazmat and tanker endorsement within 6 months of employment.
• Perform physical functions per job requirements.
• Background check, drug test, and physical as required.
• Respiratory protection standards compliance per OSHA 29 CFR 1910.34.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize Health and Safety in all tasks and maintain safe work practices.
• Prepare packing lists, labels, manifest, and disposal notifications.
• Inspect staging, storage areas and drums for leaks, spills, and labeling compliance.
• Package waste chemicals for disposal, ensuring efficiency and regulatory compliance.
• Execute jobs at customer locations, including Fortune 500 companies.
• Oversee projects to final shipment in line with OSHA, EPA, DOT policies.
• Follow site-specific regulations and health and safety plans.
