Job summary

Clean Harbors in Forest Lake, MN is seeking an Environmental Field Chemist to handle, segregate, pack, and inspect chemical waste at customer sites daily. This entry-level management role offers training and a clear path to senior positions within the Clean Harbors network.

You will operate in various environments, indoors and outdoors, with responsibilities including lab packing support, HHW activities, and regulatory compliance while delivering strong customer service.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver's license and able to obtain CDL Class B with hazmat/tanker within 6 months.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to work at customer sites daily.
• Must pass background check, drug test, and physical per job requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize Health and Safety in all tasks and follow company policies.
• Prepare packing lists, labels, manifests, and regulatory notifications.
• Inspect storage areas, drums, and labeling for compliance and safety.
• Package waste chemicals for disposal and coordinate site-based projects.
• Support Clean Harbors customer locations and ensure regulatory compliance.
