Job summary

Clean Harbors in Kent, WA seeks an Environmental Field Chemist (CleanPack Chemist) to handle, segregate, pack and inspect chemical waste at customer sites and plants. This is a customer facing role, working at client sites daily.

Entry level position with two-week Academy training out of state, paid by the company. Benefits include health coverage after 30 days, tuition reimbursement, and a clear path to management within 3 years.

Qualifications

• Requires valid driver license and ability to pass background check and drug test.
• CDL Class B with hazmat and tanker endorsement within 6 months.
• Must perform physical functions per job requirements and follow safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Handle, segregate, pack, and inspect chemical waste at client sites and facilities.
• Work indoors and outdoors at plants, labs, and customer sites; assist with lab packs.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT and company policies; maintain proper labeling and disposal procedures.
• Drive and operate vehicles following DOT and local regulations.
