Marketplace Chaplains is seeking Chaplains to serve as frontline staff fulfilling the mission and Christian ministry of MCHAP. Chaplains use their gifts to serve company employees and their immediate families, visiting worksites regularly and providing confidential pastoral discussions.

Qualificações

• Ability to work in interdisciplinary, interfaith setting and respect diverse beliefs and values.
• Skills to listen and interact with clients, employees, and their families.
• Spiritual maturity and commitment to a Christian lifestyle and MCHAPs Ministry values.
• Demonstrated diplomacy, patience, and courtesy with diverse groups and strong customer service.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Emotional stability to cope with suffering, emergencies, and stress.
• Analytical skill to define problems and identify solutions.
• Ability to interpret policy and keep others informed about procedures.
• Proficiency with Google Suites or Microsoft Office and learning new tech.
• Active state driver’s license and minimum auto insurance for service areas.

Responsabilidades

• Serves as a messenger and conveyor of faith, mission, and purpose.
• Interacts with companies, their employees, and the community with character and discipline.
• Makes brief visits to client worksites weekly to build trust and relationships.
• Provides confidential pastoral discussions for personal issues and family matters.
• Assists in planning or attending funerals and provides follow-up support during grief.
• Coordinates with executives to respond to needs within the Letter of Agreement.
