Job summary

Marketplace Chaplains is seeking Chaplains to provide frontline Christian ministry to employees and their families at client sites. The role emphasizes regular chaplain visits, confidential discussions, and spiritual support within a professional workplace environment.

Chaplains engage with employees, offer life-issues guidance, and coordinate with client leadership to address crises, grief, and transitions while upholding the ministry’s values and ethical standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in an interdisciplinary and interfaith setting.
• Strong listening and interpersonal communication with clients and families.
• Ability to provide confidential pastoral discussions when needed.
• Spiritual maturity and commitment to Christian lifestyle and ministry values.
• Demonstrated diplomacy, patience, and courtesy with diverse groups.

Responsibilities

• Make regular visits to client worksites to build relationships and trust.
• Provide confidential pastoral care and support to employees and immediate family members.
• Assist in planning and conducting employee funerals or grief support as needed.
• Coordinate with clients on death notifications and emergencies.
• Offer resources and referrals for life issues and follow up as required.
• Represent the ministry to employees and join new employee orientation when possible.
