Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking an on-site Inspector for highway construction projects across multiple locations. You will perform inspections of traffic control, environmental controls, layout, and construction methods under direct supervision, with travel 20-40%.

Candidates must have a High School diploma or equivalent, 2 years of related experience, and a valid driver's license; certifications such as ACI or NICET may be required by the client.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• State Highway Agency or NICET/ACI certification if required.
• Valid driver’s license.
• 2 years of related experience.
• Travel to project sites may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections of traffic control, environmental controls, layout, construction methods and materials under direct supervision.
• Review and accept/reject daily contractor reports and verify quality control procedures and testing.
• Review material testing procedures and results for conformance to contract; measure quantities.
