Job summary

NV5 is seeking a CEI Inspector to monitor roadway and bridge construction, perform daily field observations, and document activities and quantities. The role supports the Senior Inspector and project team to ensure conformance with plans and specifications.

The position requires reading roadway plans, strong communication skills, and ability to work outdoors in varying weather. Proficiency with tablets and laptops is essential; driving and physical capability are needed for site inspections.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent required and able to perform inspection duties.
• Ability to read and interpret roadway plans.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Comfort using tablets, laptops, and related software.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily observations of construction work for conformance with plans and specs.
• Document construction activities and track quantities of work performed.
• Maintain records and prepare required reports.
• Support Senior Inspector and Project team as needed.
• Other duties as directed by supervisors.
