Job summary

ETM Inc. seeks a CEI Inspector to provide field observation, testing and measurement services as liaison with client, engineer, contractor, utility agencies, and regulatory authorities during the construction phase.

The Inspector will work within a team and assist the Team Leader/Senior Inspector in observing, measuring, testing, and documenting progress, quality, and quantity of work performed by the contractor. Field measurements and calculations are essential.

Qualifications

• Two years of related construction inspection experience; one year in bridge/roadway inspection.
• CTQP Certification in Asphalt, Concrete, Earthwork, pile driving and drilled shafts is required.
• Understanding of FDOT project administration methods and processes (MAC, BlueBeam, Hummingbird, Site Manager).

Responsibilities

• Provide field observation, testing and measurement services for conformance to plans and specs.
• Observe, measure, and document progress, quality, and quantity of contractor work.
• Perform field measurements and calculations; record data for review by engineers and auditors.
