Sperry Rail, Inc. in Saint Paul, Minnesota, seeks a CDL Driver (CN) for a field-based role with extensive travel across the Eastern/Western US. You will operate hi-rail trucks and rail-bound detector cars, perform inspections, and ensure DOT compliance while supporting rail flaw detection testing.

The position requires a valid CDL, ability to pass DOT medical and background checks, and willingness to travel for long periods. A sign-on bonus is offered and travel/lodging are provided by Sperry.

Qualificações

• Valid CDL Class A or B with air brake endorsement.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical, drug screen, and background check (where permitted by law).
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the role.

Responsabilidades

• Travel extensively within assigned regions (3–4 months).
• Operate commercial vehicles in roadways and on railroad tracks; perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Maintain DOT compliance including logs and inspections; adhere to safety policies and regulations.
• Assist with rail flaw detection testing and data collection; interpret onboard data.
• Perform ground-level rail inspections using handheld equipment; support maintenance of equipment.
