Sperry Rail, Inc. is seeking a CDL Driver to operate hi-rail trucks and detector cars across the United States. This field-based role involves extensive travel, adherence to DOT regulations, and hands-on testing support.

You will perform pre-trip inspections, monitor data, and ensure safety compliance while communicating with the crew via radio and in-person. A valid CDL is required, with high physical endurance and reliability.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A or B with air brake endorsement.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical, drug screen, and background check as required by law.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the role.

Responsibilities

• Travel extensively (3–4 months at a time) within assigned regions.
• Operate hi-rail trucks and rail-bound detector cars.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections; maintain DOT logs.
