Sperry Rail, Inc. is seeking a CDL Driver (CN) for field-based work across the Eastern or Western United States.

You will operate hi-rail trucks and rail-bound detector cars, conduct inspections, and support testing operations while ensuring DOT compliance and safety in varied environments. This role demands extensive travel (months at a time), physical stamina, and strong communication with crews and railroad personnel.

Formación

• Valid CDL Class A or B with air brake endorsement and ability to pass a DOT physical, drug screen, and background check.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the role.

Responsabilidades

• Travel extensively (3–4 months at a time) within assigned regions.
• Operate hi-rail trucks and rail-bound detector cars on roadways and railroad tracks.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain DOT compliance.
• Support testing operations and data collection for rail flaw detection.
• Maintain equipment and assist with repairs as needed.
• Follow all safety policies and DOT/FRA regulations.
