Sperry Rail, Inc. is seeking a CDL Driver (BNSF) for a field-based, highly travel-intensive role. The driver operates hi-rail trucks and rail-bound detector cars across Eastern or Western US, adhering to all DOT regulations and safety protocols, with frequent long-duration assignments.

The position requires valid CDL A/B with air brake endorsement, strong communication, and the ability to pass physicals and background checks. Expect travel between sites and substantial field work.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A or B with air brake endorsement.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical, drug screen, and background check.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• 2+ years of commercial driving experience.

Responsabilités

• Travel extensively (3–4 months at a time) within assigned regions.
• Operate hi-rail trucks and rail-bound detector cars on roadways and railroad tracks; perform inspections.
• Maintain DOT compliance, including driver logs, inspections, and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with rail flaw detection testing and data collection; monitor onboard systems.
