Job summary

Sperry Rail, Inc. is seeking a CDL Driver for a high-travel, field-based position requiring travel throughout Eastern or Western US. You will operate specialized rail inspection vehicles, support testing operations, and ensure compliance with DOT regulations.

This role demands a valid CDL and the ability to meet physical demands, including extensive walking and climbing. The position offers a pay rate of $21.60 per hour.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A or B with air brake endorsement.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical, drug screen, and background check.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the role.

Responsibilities

• Travel extensively (3–4 months at a time) within assigned regions.
• Operate commercial vehicles on roadways and railroad tracks.
• Assist with rail flaw detection testing and data collection.
• Follow all company safety policies and DOT/FRA regulations.
