Sperry Rail Service is seeking a field-based CDL Driver to operate hi-rail trucks and detector cars across the Eastern or Western US. This role requires extended travel (3-4 months) and strict DOT/safety compliance, with performance in testing operations and data collection.

Pay begins at $21.60 per hour, with overtime and paid travel, lodging, and meals. Candidates must pass DOT physicals and background checks to join a global leader in rail safety.

Formación

• CDL Class A or B license with air brake endorsement required.
• Ability to pass DOT physical, drug screen, and background check.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience.
• Good physical fitness to meet demanding field work.

Responsabilidades

• Travel extensively (3–4 months) within assigned regions.
• Operate hi-rail and rail-bound detector vehicles on roads and tracks.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and DOT compliance.
• Support rail flaw detection testing and data collection.
• Maintain vehicle and equipment cleanliness and safety protocols.
