Job summary

Sedgwick is hiring a Field Case Manager to cover the Florence, SC region. You will work face-to-face with injured workers and medical providers to facilitate care, advocate for effective treatment, and support timely return-to-work.

This role combines travel with a home-based office and a fulfilling career at a global leader in claims management. The ideal candidate has nursing licensure or a health/human services degree with CCM, CDMS, or CRC certifications, and is prepared for remote work with

Qualifications

• RN licensure preferred; or bachelor’s degree in health or human services field required with CCM, CDMS, or CRC certifications.
• Ability to advocate, coordinate care, and communicate effectively with injured workers, medical providers, and clients.
• Willingness to travel and operate a home-based office while supporting field case management activities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as patient advocate to coordinate care for injured workers and families.
• Facilitate recovery and return-to-work through advocacy, education, and resource identification.
• Identify providers and facilities and ensure cost-effective, timely care for the client and reimbursement source.
