Job summary

Medasource is seeking a Field Biomedical Technician (Planned Activity Specialist) to travel across Kalamazoo, MI and Fort Wayne, IN to maintain and service analyzers at hospital sites. The role emphasizes proactive maintenance, assay installation, data interpretation, and customer satisfaction in a multi-site field environment.

The ideal candidate will have a Biomedical-related degree, strong communication, and troubleshooting skills, with a preference for experience in a lab or healthcare

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a Biomedical or equivalent field (preferred).
• Effective communication skills, helpful customer interaction, and organizationally sound.
• Experience with preventative maintenance and troubleshooting machinery/hardware using established procedures (preferred).
• Med Tech background huge plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Schedule appointments with customer and set customer expectations.
• Run precision, linearity, and correlations.
• Assist with interfacing of new assay.
• Evaluate validation data and present it to customer.
• Determine cost effective repair/resolutions to minimize downtime.
• Provide feedback and document product failure trends and service issues.
• Responsible for ensuring and maximizing customer satisfaction with equipment and related products.
• Identify revenue generating and cost saving opportunities.
• Maintains expenses within departmental guidelines and controls inventory and all company property.
