Job summary

TriMedx is seeking a Biomedical Technician II to install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, and verify the performance of complex biomedical equipment with minimal supervision. The BMET II may serve as a technical advisor to clinical staff and assist in developing equipment specifications.

Responsibilities include performance assurance inspections, regulatory compliance, and inventory management, with collaboration across vendors and service technicians to ensure high-quality service

Qualifications

• 2 year technical/electronics degree or comparable experience.
• CBET certification strongly preferred.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience with biomedical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, repairs, installation, and calibration of complex biomedical equipment.
• Inform supervisors about repairs, inspections, and customer concerns.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and service technicians to ensure proper delivery.
• Maintain and update equipment database and service history.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and complete documentation.
• Build and maintain customer relationships and support site operations.
