Job summary

Raymond West is seeking a driven Business Development Representative to join our Sales team. The BDR will focus on cold-calling to discover new business opportunities, work with senior Account Managers to develop leads, and sell materials handling equipment in a defined sales territory.

The role requires field time, with responsibilities including prospecting, lead generation, and building relationships with customers and non-customers within the territory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from four-year college or technical school preferred, or two years sales experience.

Responsibilities

• Make thirty cold-call contacts per day, for a minimum of three days per week.
• Identify business opportunities and develop leads with senior Account Managers.
• Generate sales leads through campaigns and outreach.
• Increase market awareness through warm calling and networking.
• Create and manage prospective customer database.
• Digitize contacts for mail-merge campaigns.
• Collaborate with Marketing to develop new customers.
