Job summary

Mars, the parent company behind Royal Canin, is seeking a Veterinary District Sales Manager in Toledo, OH. This field-based role requires living within the territory and occasional overnight travel.

You will execute the Vet BU strategy, drive clinic partnerships, and deliver data-driven presentations to decision-makers while managing territory plans in collaboration with cross-functional teams. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 2+ years sales experience, preferably B2B.
• Veterinary clinic experience preferred.
• Excellent communication & presentation skills (oral and written).
• Possession of a driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Overnight travel required, occasional weekends; approx. 20-30%+ travel.

Responsibilities

• Translate knowledge of products, categories, customer and clinic data into business opportunities.
• Develop and execute a territory business plan by understanding clinic operational needs and growth potential.
• Establish and grow relationships with clinic decision-makers within assigned geography.
• Deliver compelling, data-driven presentations to address Veterinary staff needs.
• Collaborate with internal teams and manage cross-functional relationships to execute sales strategy.
• Monitor territory performance and adjust strategies; complete CRM and expense reports accurately.
