Job summary

Lambert's Cable, a telecommunications employer, seeks a Supervisor Construction Underground to oversee field projects in Catlett, VA. You will ensure adherence to construction rules, coordinate crews and subcontractors, and manage on-site schedules with customer and municipal interface.

The role requires 3+ years of supervisor experience in telecom, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work in varied weather.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of supervisor experience in telecommunications.
• Knowledge of industry standards, practices and regulations for fiber optic and copper outside plant.
• Knowledge of aerial and underground construction methods and engineering requirements.
• Valid driver's license with a minimum of 2 years driving experience.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Willingness to work in solo and team environments.
• Experience working through all types of weather, including inclement weather.
• Self starter with effective communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and implement the Company Construction Program ensuring that job-sites follow construction rules, practices and policies.
• Available for call outs.
• Represent the company and interface with customer, developers, property owners, utilities, and municipalities.
• Coordinate, lead and provide assistance to crews, subcontractors and other interested parties.
• Ensure construction schedules are met on time.
• Ensure all Corporate Policies and Procedures are followed.
• Organize, plan, multi-task, prioritize daily workload with minimal supervision and meet deadlines while communicating effectively with staff.
