Job summary

Lambert's Cable Splicing Co. in North Carolina is seeking a Telecommunications Supervisor Construction to oversee the company construction program and ensure job sites follow established rules, practices and policies. You will supervise crews and coordinate with customers, developers, property owners, utilities and municipalities.

You must be available for call outs, organize workloads, meet deadlines and maintain corporate policies while working with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of supervisor experience in telecommunications.
• Knowledge of telecom standards, practices and regulations for fiber optic and copper outside plant facilities.
• Knowledge of aerial and underground construction methods and engineering requirements.
• Valid driver's license with minimum 2 years driving experience.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Willingness to work solo and in a team, and to handle all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• You will supervise and implement the Company Construction Program ensuring that each job-site utilizes the construction rules, practices and policies.
• You must be available for call outs.
• You will represent the company and interface with customer, developers, property owners, utilities, and municipalities.
• You will coordinate, lead and provide assistance to crews, subcontractors and other interested parties.
• You will ensure that construction schedules are met on time.
• You will ensure all Corporate Policies and Procedures are followed.
• You will organize, plan, multi-task, prioritize and re-prioritize daily workload and work with minimum supervision and the ability to meet deadlines, establish deadlines, and to prioritize deadlines while communicating effectively and professionally with all staff.
