Job summary
UTEX Industries is seeking a Technical Advisor for Well Service Products to support field operations in the Permian Basin. The role focuses on troubleshooting, performance optimization, and strong customer liaison with frac and well service companies to improve packing longevity and reduce downtime.
You will train field personnel, diagnose issues, and recommend best practices for installation and maintenance, contributing to product reliability and sales growth in a challenging oilfield
Qualifications
- 5+ years of oilfield services experience in pressure pumping or well service operations.
- Hands-on knowledge of fluid ends, frac pumps, and high-pressure pumping systems.
- Proven experience troubleshooting, diagnosing failures, and optimizing fluid ends.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary technical liaison between customers and UTEX, ensuring well service products meet operational needs.
- Conduct on-site inspections and performance assessments to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.
- Diagnose failures, recommend maintenance solutions, and educate customers on installation and lubrication best practices.
- Gather market intelligence and provide feedback to engineering teams to refine sealing solutions.
