Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Project Supply Chain Manager to supervise material storage and SCM activities on construction sites across the United States. The role focuses on safeguarding materials, conducting material analyses, and providing insights for project needs, with travel to various project sites nationwide.

The candidate will manage on-site supply chain operations, procurement, inventory control, and logistics while collaborating with suppliers and internal teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience preferred.
  • Experience in a management role, managing and fostering the development of personnel.
  • 3-5 years quantifiable experience in Project Management.
  • 3-5 years quantifiable experience in Supply Chain Management practices.
  • General knowledge of the power delivery industry.
  • Team members must be extremely proficient in the Office 365 suite of software, with an emphasis in Excel.
  • Experience in collaborating on Projects as a value-added member.
  • Role will be located at the Project Site (Nationwide) consisting of onsite work, remote based on project needs, and travel.

Responsibilities

  • Performs supply chain and logistics functions, such as material/services procurement, production planning, inventory control, outsourcing, vendor selection and distribution.
  • Coordinates and integrates the flow of materials and information among suppliers, manufacturers, distributors and customers.
  • Ensures inventories are secure, properly identified and readily accessible to authorized personnel.
  • Maintains controls over various types of inventories (e.g., raw materials, subassemblies, finished goods).
  • Conducts physical inventory counts and reconciles results with inventory records.
  • Ensures that quantities of incoming and outgoing shipments are correct.
  • Conducts analyses of inventory levels, and coordinates with production and sales requirements.
  • Coordinates inbound and outbound logistical operations including inventory management, warehousing, and transportation to ensure sufficient supply of goods and products.
  • Analyzes transportation and distribution systems and procedures to ensure the efficient and economical delivery of the organization’s products.
  • Conduct detailed analysis of inventory in comparison to project needs (site, schedule).
  • Must be able to stand for multiple hours on a rocked surface; walk over 10,000 steps a day on a rocked surface; lift up to 50lbs; spot equipment on the yard and travel between storage locations.
