Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Incorporated in Georgia is seeking a Physician Account Manager to drive territory growth and profitability of laboratory sales through service excellence and issue resolution across multiple accounts. This field-based role requires daily travel throughout Northwest and Central East GA with collaboration with Physician Account Executives.

Responsibilities include managing accounts, retaining customers, pursuing growth, and coordinating with internal teams to resolve service

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of sales or account ownership experience.
• Knowledge of Healthcare Industry, specifically laboratory/diagnostics.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts through ongoing business reviews of service, logistics, and supplies to identify customer needs.
• Ensure customer retention by maintaining relationships with current accounts.
• Drive growth in their assigned Key Accounts.
• Identify and pursue up-selling and cross-selling opportunities with Physician Account Executives or Specialty Account Executives.
• Partner with Physician Account Executive to resolve account-specific service issues.
• Partner with Customer Solutions Group to facilitate, prioritize and resolve customer service issues.
• Escalate service issue non-resolution as appropriate.
• Leverage all tools and resources (data, sales portal, marketing, laboratories) as needed.
• Provide continuing education to the customer on new technologies and laboratory testing.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and government regulations.
• Complete all administrative tasks promptly.
• Follow up communications with Physician Account Executives and customers.
