Job summary

AbbVie is seeking an Oncology Nurse Educator to lead education for oncology clinicians in a field-based role covering DC and surrounding areas. You will deliver disease and product education, develop education plans, and collaborate with cross-functional teams while traveling up to 50% of the time to meet customers.

Ideal candidates bring 7+ years oncology experience, strong communication, and ability to interpret clinical data to support patient management.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in nursing, NP, PA or PharmD required
Master’s degree preferred
Current active HCP license
7+ years clinical oncology/hematology experience
Experience in academic and/or community oncology practice
Travel willingness due to field-based role

Responsibilities

Provide product and disease education to allied health care professionals.
Develop a customized educational plan through analysis of account dynamics and clinical insights.
Educate allied health care clinicians on dosing, administration, and side effect management.
Collaborate with sales, marketing, clinical operations and medical teams.
Present at internal national, regional and local meetings.
