Job summary

AbbVie Oncology is seeking an experienced Oncology Nurse Educator to engage with healthcare professionals and provide product and disease education to support patient management before, during, and after therapy.

The role is field-based and requires living within a reasonable distance of the primary state, with extensive travel (up to 50%). You will partner with cross-functional teams to enhance education initiatives and clinical competencies across academic and community oncology settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing, NP, PA or PharmD required.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Current active health care professional license.
• 7+ years clinical oncology/hematology experience; recent hematology preferred.
• Experience in academic and/or community oncology practice.

Responsibilities

• Educate allied health care clinicians on patient identification and roles of approved therapies for hematologic and solid tumor malignancies.
• Provide education on dosing, administration, and adverse event management.
• Develop customized educational plans through account analysis and clinical insights.
• Deliver 1:1 presentations/in-services and other approved formats.
• Collaborate with internal teams (sales, marketing, clinical operations, medical, CV&E) to support education initiatives.
