Job summary

AbbVie Oncology invites applications for an Oncology Nurse Educator. The role focuses on delivering education to allied health professionals, supporting patient management and treatment protocols.

It requires field-based work with travel and collaboration across sales, medical and clinical teams. The ideal candidate has 7+ years in oncology/hematology, a nursing or equivalent clinical degree, and strong communication and presentation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing, NP, PA or PharmD and active HCP license.
• 7+ years clinical oncology/hematology experience, recent hematology focus.
• Experience in academic or community oncology with Hematology/Oncology patients.
• Excellent communication, presentation and analytical skills; adaptable.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% locally and nationally.

Responsibilities

• Educate allied healthcare professionals with product and disease education.
• Develop customized educational plans based on account needs and insights.
• Educate on therapy preparation, dosing, administration and adverse events.
• Deliver 1:1 presentations, in-services, round-tables and podium sessions.
• Document interactions and manage allocated resources.
