Job summary

AbbVie Oncology is seeking an experienced Oncology Nurse Educator to partner with allied healthcare professionals, patients, and care teams to optimize education and patient management on approved therapies. This field-based role emphasizes proactive education, collaboration, and evidence-based practice across oncology accounts.

The role requires 50% travel, a nursing- or pharma-related degree, strong presentation skills, and the ability to tailor education plans for both academic and community

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing, NP, PA or PharmD required.
• Master’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic education leader across academic and community oncology accounts with approved resources for allied health care professionals and care teams.
• Develop customized educational plans through account dynamics and clinical insights to meet patient care teams’ needs.
• Educate clinicians on patient identification, appropriate use of approved therapies, and management of adverse events.
• Educate on preparation and administration requirements of products and dosing protocols.
• Document customer interactions and educational activities and manage allocated resources.
