U.S. Bank is seeking a Mortgage Loan Originator to originate loans in an assigned non-bank territory.

You will take applications, conduct preliminary underwriting reviews, submit to processing and underwriting, and ensure required documents are secured in a timely manner. The role involves extensive outside sales and requires at least 50% travel away from bank locations; you will build referral networks and help customers with pricing and underwriting requirements across FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, and VA

Competenze

• NMLS registration under SAFÉ Act and Reg Z, maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements.
• High school degree or equivalent.
• Two or more years of Mortgage, Sales, or Real Estate experience.

Mansioni

• Originate mortgage loans in an assigned non-bank territory.
• Take applications, conduct preliminary underwriting reviews, submit to processing and underwriting for approval.
• Follow up to ensure documents required for processing, underwriting, and closing are secured in a timely manner.
• Spend at least 50% of time conducting sales activities away from U.S. Bank locations.
