U.S. Bank is seeking a Mortgage Loan Originator to originate loans in an assigned non-bank territory. You will take applications, conduct preliminary underwriting reviews, and guide loan files through processing and underwriting for approval.

The role requires proactive sales activity, with at least 50% of time spent away from U.S. Bank locations, and strong knowledge of underwriting guidelines across FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, and VA. NMLS registration and compliance are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have NMLS registration and comply with SAFÉ Act 2008 and Regulation Z
• High school degree or equivalent required
• 2+ years of Mortgage, Sales, or Real Estate experience preferred

Responsabilités

• Originate mortgage loans in an assigned Non-Bank territory
• Take applications and conduct preliminary underwriting reviews
• Submit loan applications to processing and underwriting for approval
• Follow up to secure required documents for processing, underwriting and closing
• Spend at least 50% of time performing sales activities away from U.S. Bank locations
