Job summary

Community Health at Home in Indianapolis, IN seeks a Market Development Representative to grow regional market share for home health services. This field-based role focuses on building relationships with hospitals, facilities, physicians, and other providers, educating communities about services, and coordinating referrals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree, clinical license, or Care Transition Nurse experience preferred.
• Minimum of one year of related sales experience preferred, preferably in a health care/medical field.
• Excellent sales, customer service and persuasive abilities; ability to build trusting relationships and gain commitment for referrals.
• Valid Driver’s license is required.
• Compliant with appropriate state certification/registration and organizational requirements as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Identifies and qualifies health care relationships within regional territory, focusing on skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, community-based residential facilities, physicians, other health care providers, and hospital systems.
• Educates the community about services.
• Develops and maintains relationships with key customer sources through regular contact and follow-up.
• Acts as the key contact for client troubleshooting and conflict resolution.
• Maintains accurate data on customer relationships within RSL for each key referral source.
• Communicates critical client and patient information to branches daily.
• Meets or exceeds established monthly admission targets as set by supervisor and budget.
• Assists with unbilled revenue and Face to Face as requested by branch leadership.
• Follows patient referrals to coordinate home care services with discharge coordinators.
