Job summary

Topaz HR Advisory represents a flooring distributor recruiting an Outside Sales Representative to expand the customer base across Pennsylvania territories. The role emphasizes in-person visits, relationship building, and long-term partnerships.

You will prospect new business, present products, and collaborate with internal teams to meet client needs. Base salary ranges from $65,000 to $75,000 plus commission, with full-time, field-based work.

Qualifications

• Outside sales experience in flooring/building materials preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
• Self-motivated, organized and results-driven, able to work independently.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel regularly throughout assigned territories.

Responsibilities

• Actively prospect and develop new business opportunities with flooring contractors, installers, retailers, and other potential customers.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business.
• Conduct in-person sales visits, product presentations, and demonstrations to promote flooring products and related materials.
• Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate products and solutions.
• Collaborate with the internal sales team to ensure customer needs are met and orders are handled efficiently.
• Stay informed on flooring industry trends, product offerings, pricing, and competitor activity.
• Meet and exceed sales goals while regularly reporting on sales activities, pipeline development, and customer relationships.
• Manage an assigned sales territory, including planning customer visits and identifying opportunities for continued growth.
