Job summary

BigIron is hiring a full-time Equipment Sales Representative to support customers in the agriculture industry by selling BigIron’s online auction services. You will develop relationships, grow your defined territory, and guide customers through the auction process from start to finish.

This field-based role requires travel within the local territory and a home-based office when not meeting customers. Base salary ranges $50,000–$75,000 with commissions and potential earnings up to $150,000+

Qualifications

3+ years of sales, territory management, or business development experience.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Ability to work independently in a field-based sales role.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain relationships with farmers, ranchers, landowners, equipment dealers, and local ag businesses.
Prospect for new business through in-person visits, referrals, networking, and outreach.
Meet customers on farms, at shops, and within the territory to discuss auctions and selling options.
Secure consignment agreements for upcoming BigIron auctions.
Coordinate with marketing, listing, and operations teams to prepare equipment for sale.
Support customers through the auction process and provide ongoing service after the sale.
Grow revenue within the assigned territory.
