Job summary

ERM is hiring an Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Consultant to support a key technology client onsite in San Antonio, TX. The role is limited-term, starting at ~20 hours/week and increasing to 35-40 hours/week in September 2026.

Some travel may be required with approved expenses reimbursed. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of EHS experience, a BS in a relevant field, and familiarity with OSHA requirements, risk assessment, and incident response plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, environmental science, occupational health and safety, or related discipline.
• 4+ years of EHS experience with emphasis on health and safety.
• Experience with regulatory compliance and reporting processes.
• Certification such as CSP/ASP is a plus, and Enablon experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform audits to assess health, safety, and environmental regulatory compliance and client standards.
• Provide training, field coaching, and targeted EHS assessments to improve safety performance.
• Identify and close audit findings with corrective actions.
• Develop EHS compliance procedures, plans, permits, and reports.
