Job summary

ERM is hiring a hands-on Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Consultant to support our technology client onsite in San Francisco, CA. This is a full-time, limited-term role (6 months) at 35 hours per week with potential extension.

The consultant will implement OSHA-based programs, deliver safety coaching, and help manage complex EHS deliverables. The ideal candidate has a BS in a related field, 4+ years of EHS experience, and familiarity with Enablon; CSP/ASP certification is a plus.

Qualifications

  • BS in engineering, environmental science, occupational health and safety, or related field.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience providing EHS support.
  • CSP/ASP certification or working toward it is a plus.
  • Experience with Enablon is a plus.
  • Knowledge of OSHA requirements and safety programs.

Responsibilities

  • Perform compliance and system audits to assess project compliance with health and safety or environmental regulations.
  • Provide training, field coaching, and targeted EHS assessments to improve safety performance.
  • Identify follow-up corrective actions to close audit findings.
  • Develop EHS procedures, plans, permits, and reports.
  • Support project delivery and manage tasks within scope, budget, and schedule.
  • Build client relationships and collaborate with ERM teams to deliver projects.
