Job summary

The Sunshine House is seeking an Early Childhood Education Coach to strengthen classroom practice across a cluster of centers. You will observe, model, and provide feedback to teachers, helping translate knowledge into consistent routines and high-quality learning experiences.

You’ll support adult learning, collaborate with center leaders, and travel regularly within the assigned geography while maintaining detailed documentation and pursuing education initiatives.

Qualifications

• Meets lead teacher qualifications in applicable state(s).
• Associate degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field preferred; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum three years of successful experience in an early childhood education setting as a lead teacher or equivalent; five years preferred.
• Experience mentoring adults and leading practice change is strongly preferred.
• Experience supporting multiple classrooms or locations is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet travel requirements.
• Ability to pass background and employment screening.

Responsibilities

• Build collaborative coaching relationships with teachers and center leaders to support growth.
• Observe classroom practice and curriculum implementation using company tools.
• Identify coaching goals and practical next steps from evidence and input.
• Provide job-embedded support through modeling, practice, feedback, and training.
• Help teachers use company curriculum, planning tools, and family resources with confidence.
• Coordinate with center leadership to set priorities and communicate progress.
• Maintain accurate electronic documentation of observations, goals, and outcomes.
• Manage a cluster-based schedule balancing travel and center needs.
• Participate in onboarding, professional development, and Education initiatives.
• Share resources with Education Team and provide cross-cluster support.
• Use coaching data to celebrate progress and inform support strategies.
• Follow safety, confidentiality, travel, purchasing, and financial policies.
