Job summary

The Sunshine House is seeking an Education Coach to support teachers across centers in South Carolina. You will observe interactions, model best practices, and guide reflective growth to improve daily experiences for children.

Travel within assigned clusters is required; strong collaboration with center leaders is essential to advance curriculum and developmentally appropriate practice.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of child development and developmentally appropriate practice for infants to pre-K.
• Ability to observe objectively, identify priorities, and translate feedback into practice.
• Experience supporting adult learning through coaching, modeling, and reflection.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with professional follow-up.

Responsibilities

• Build collaborative coaching relationships with teachers and center leaders.
• Observe classroom practice and curriculum implementation using approved tools.
• Identify coaching goals based on evidence and teacher input.
• Provide job-embedded support through modeling, practice, and feedback.
• Help teachers use curricula, planning tools, and family resources with confidence.
• Maintain accurate electronic documentation of observations, goals, and outcomes.
