Job summary

The Sunshine House Early Learning Academy is seeking an Education Coach to work field-based with our Education Team, improving daily classroom practice and meaningful experiences for children. You will observe, model, and provide feedback to teachers while traveling within a geographic cluster of Sunshine House Centers.

Ideal candidates are experienced early childhood professionals who enjoy adult learning, build positive relationships, and can manage multiple coaching cycles and center needs

Qualifications

• Meets state lead teacher qualifications where assigned.
• Associate degree in ECE or related field preferred; bachelor’s preferred.
• Minimum three years in an ECE setting in roles like lead teacher, coach, or trainer; five years preferred.
• Experience mentoring adults and leading practice change is strongly preferred.
• Ability to travel regularly within assigned cluster and occasional other markets.

Responsibilities

• Build collaborative coaching relationships with teachers and center leaders.
• Observe classroom practice and interactions using approved tools.
• Identify coaching goals and practical next steps from evidence and input.
• Provide job-embedded support through modeling, practice, and feedback.
• Help teachers use curriculum, planning tools, and family resources with confidence.
• Coordinate with center leadership to align coaching priorities and progress.
