Job summary

The Sunshine House seeks an experienced Education Coach to work in a field-based role supporting teachers and center leaders across a geographic cluster. You will observe practice, model effective strategies, and provide feedback to strengthen developmentally appropriate practice and curriculum implementation.

You will collaborate with Education Team members, manage multiple coaching cycles, and travel regularly to centers, including occasional evenings or weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Meets state lead teacher qualifications
• Associate or Bachelor’s in ECE or related field preferred
• Minimum three years in early childhood settings as lead teacher or equivalent; five years preferred
• Experience mentoring adults and leading practice change is preferred
• Valid driver’s license and travel eligibility

Responsibilities

• Build collaborative coaching relationships with teachers and center leaders
• Observe classroom practice and curriculum implementation using company tools
• Identify coaching goals and practical next steps from evidence
• Provide job-embedded coaching through modeling, practice, and feedback
• Help teachers use curriculum, planning tools, schedules, observations and portfolios confidently
• Coordinate with center leadership to align coaching priorities and progress
