Job summary

Motion Industries is seeking a Customer Service Representative II who ensures customer expectations are accurately determined and fully met. The role involves visiting customer locations, handling quotes, orders, and supporting other reps to maintain service levels.

Responsibilities include negotiating pricing within parameters, maintaining inventory visibility, expediting backorders, and coordinating shipping methods to optimize cost and delivery times across two or more sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 3–5 years of related customer service experience.
• Experience in a fast-paced environment and ability to multi-task.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Responds to customer inquiries, provides quotes, and handles order entry.
• Places orders via telephone, fax, email, or walk-in; negotiates pricing within parameters.
• Builds customer relationships to drive repeat business and ensures inventory availability.
• Manages returns, expedites backorders, and assists other customer service representatives.
• Determines cost-effective shipping methods and supports specific customer(s).
