Job summary

The Arizona Department of Child Safety (DCS) is hiring Case Manager/Child Safety Specialist for roles in Mesa, East Mesa, Queen Creek, San Tan Valley, and Gold Canyon, Arizona. You will respond to allegations, conduct interviews, assess child safety, and coordinate services in home and community settings.

Requirements include a bachelor’s or master’s degree (or 4 years as a DCS Case Aide), valid driver’s license, and the ability to obtain a Fingerprint Clearance Card.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or master’s degree earned from an accredited institution or 4 years as a DCS Case Aide
Valid driver’s license and a satisfactory 39 month driving record
Ability to obtain and maintain a valid DPS Fingerprint Clearance Card
Background check including Central Registry and Public Record
Complete 22 weeks of in person classroom and field training

Responsibilities

Respond to allegations of child abuse or neglect
Conduct interviews and assess child safety
Work with families in homes and community to coordinate services
Develop case plans and attend court hearings
Transport children and support placement needs
Collaborate with courts, providers, and partner agencies
