Job summary

The Arizona Department of Child Safety in Phoenix is seeking a Case Manager/Child Safety Specialist to respond to allegations, assess safety, and coordinate services for families within the community. This on-site role emphasizes home visits, interviews, and court reporting to ensure safety and permanency for children.

A valid driver’s license and in-person CORE training are required. This is a full-time position with step increases after training and years of service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree earned from an accredited institution or 4 years as a DCS Case Aide.

Responsibilities

• Respond to allegations of child abuse or neglect
• Conduct interviews and assess child safety
• Work with families in their homes and in the community
• Coordinate services and develop case plans
• Attend court hearings and prepare professional reports
• Transport children and support placement needs
• Manage cases throughout your assigned region
• Collaborate with courts, providers, and partner agencies
