Job summary

Arizona Department of Child Safety (DCS) is seeking a Case Manager/Child Safety Specialist to protect vulnerable children across Kingman and surrounding areas. This full-time, on-site role involves investigating allegations, interviewing families, assessing safety, and coordinating services with community partners.

Positions require completion of a 22-week training program, a valid driver's license, and the ability to obtain a DPS clearance card.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree from an accredited institution or 4 years as a DCS Case Aide.
• Valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record.
• Ability to obtain DPS Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• Background including Central Registry and Public Record evaluated.
• Complete 22 weeks of in-person classroom and field training.

Responsibilities

• Respond to allegations of child abuse or neglect.
• Conduct interviews and assess child safety.
• Work with families in homes and in the community.
• Coordinate services and develop case plans.
• Attend court hearings and prepare professional reports.
• Transport children and support placement needs.
• Manage cases throughout the assigned region.
• Collaborate with courts, providers, and partner agencies.
