Job summary

The Behaviorists in Central Miami is seeking an enthusiastic Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide one-on-one ABA-based interventions for individuals with ASD and other developmental disabilities. You will work under the supervision of a BCBA to implement treatment plans and promote skill development.

The role involves travel to homes, schools, clinics or community settings, data collection, and collaboration with BCBAs, teachers and families.

Qualifications

• Active RBT certification required by BACB.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working with children/ASD or developmental disabilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement Behavior Plans under BCBA guidance.
• Direct client interaction in home, school, clinic, or community settings.
• Data collection and progress tracking based on behavioral data.
• Assist clients to improve communication, social, daily living, and academic skills.
• Use de-escalation techniques to manage challenging behaviors safely.
• Provide training to parents and caregivers to reinforce skills outside sessions.
• Collaborate with BCBA, teachers, therapists, and families for consistency.
• Follow BACB guidelines, HIPAA, and company policies.
